Mr. Twister Electric Fisherman is hard to beat. I've used them for years. They are like a Timex they take a licking and keep on ticking.

Mr. Twister Electric Fisherman, I agree. but... the cord is like a phone cord. I would like one that is 110v and 12v conversion.

Walmart Black and Decker... 5 years running, and will cut through anything, and still finesse $10.00 They still have theses available? I looked in the fishing section at Wal-mart and they didn't even have a electric filet knife back there.

Are the blades from a electric kitchen knife thicker or the same than a fish filet knife?

Go to the kitchen section in Wally World to find the non fishing brands of electric knives. I had an old B&D knife that lasted forever, still works but I misplaced the blades somewhere. Bought a new one this year, went with the Hamilton beach model instead of the B&D (Walmart had both), 200+ fish later, the HB brand has done well so far.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!

Orange American Angler with a shark blade is the best electric knife you will ever use. I've had this one for years. Still works as well as the day I bought it. Absolutely no complaints.

Why would you want to use an electric knife?
