Me and the wife finally have some free time this weekend. Just curious to know how the crappie are biting on Lake Grapevine? Any tips on where I should look? Thanks!

In all honesty, I would go to a different lake. Some buddies and I fished it hard all day on Monday and only had 1 dink to show for it. The lake is still messed up from being so high for so long and is very stained. If you do go I would shoot the pontoons in the marinas.

Drove by Grapevine yesterday, it's still high. I used to catch crappie by the boathouses last year but it's no way to get there right now.

Any suggestions on where to go to catch some crappie or sand bass?

That's a good starting point.
