I still think it was a d*ck move no matter what his story is. As Zona said there are people on the tour that would never have done that and there are some that have no problem doing it. For me I would never have done it. Yes he was in the same area yesterday but he was not fishing that specific area until Carl caught those 7lbers. And for Boyd to go right to the same spot where Carl caught the 7lbers and power pole down...now that's a d*ck move. Man I hope you are never in a position of authority because you will make a lot of bad decisions when you only get one side of the story and use hearsay as your data. Zona did not talk to BD afet Day 1 or before day 2. If you think Zona speaks 100% accurately and factually all the time well that is not correct either. The Carl kid caught two 7 pound fish on the first day plus 3 that might have gone 5 pounds. Boyd had 7 pounds the first day. Then today Carl is talking about how BD does not know how to catch them and BD whacks 14 pounds or so with Carl catching one keeper. I like the fact that Bass Live is showing more of things that happen on the water such as the KVD/Ike community stuff last year but it is going to be rocky with people (viewers/fans) jumping to conclusions and blasting anglers on the internet based on sounds bites and the announcers being viewed as all knowing. Zona is prone to hyperbole and the comment that everyone lets the Day 1 leader have it all when it was shared water the day before is grossly overstated.

You are right. I probably need to hear both sides of the story before jumping to conclusions. My bad. If it was the way it was presented then I still think it was a bad move on Boyd's part. Maybe it wasn't as big of a deal as we think.

i guarantee you if the situation had been reversed duckett would have been raising hell about somebody jumping "his spot". to crowd somebody is one thing, to park yourself on that exact spot is a d$%#$k move. especially doing it to the tournament leader.

Pretty good attitude from Jocumsen about it though. Literally had a boat cut me off last night to get to a spot, they cut 30 yards in front of me while fun fishing.... Must fish on http://www.bassmaster.com/news/daily-limit-sore-spot
