The Texas Striper Association's 3rd tournament of the year will be hosted on Possum Kingdom Lake on Saturday April 9, 2016. The tournament will be held at the South D & D Boat Ramp. There will not be a Captain's Meeting or a Boat Check. Just give me a call at 682.556.4591 or an email at texasstriperassociation@gmail.com and let me know you are going to fish the tournament and we can settle up at the weigh in.

You can start fishing at 6:45am and stop at 2:00pm and be in line for the weigh-in at 3:00pm at South D&D Boat Ramp.

Guides are also welcome and encouraged to participate.

Tournament Registration fees are $100.00 for TSA members and $135.00 for non-members. There is also a $20.00 big fish pot that everyone can participate in. Complete rules are located on the Texas Striper Association Website at http://www.texasstriperassociation.com.

Each team will be weighing in their five (5) biggest fish.

There WILL NOT be a Captain's Meeting.

Start Time is 6:45am - You Cannot Start Fishing Until This Time. No Lines Should Be In The Water Prior To 6:45am

Stop Time is 2:00pm - All Lines Must Be Out Of The Water At 2:00pm. You Must Be In Line For The Weigh-In By 3:00pm.

The fishing on Possum Kingdom was outstanding on Saturday....at least until the rain and winds started and forced some of us off of the water.

Following are the results:

1st Place was Team Epic Reaper weighing in 34.26 pounds. They also won the Big Fish pot with a 14.89 pounder.

2nd Place was last years Possum Kingdom winners, The Unlucky Few weighing in 28.08 pounds.

3rd Place was Team Reel Time weighing in 27.34 pounds.

The fish were caught all over the lake from North D&D to South D&D. They were caught on live bait and lures.

We stayed at rock creek this weekend. Fishing was awesome Friday around Costello and then Saturday the rain and massive winds came in.

Wish I could have made it this year. I had some major equipment repairs to take care of before the work week started today. Impressive weights for this weigh-in. Good job, guys and gals!
