does anyone know of any ponds on golf courses in the dfw area that you are actually allowed to fish and won't get run off of or get a ticket

Most are private or public (city) property. No trespassing and such. Unless, you happen to find one that is (for example) on the side of the fairway and the other bank is not privately owned. Good luck though, they are in the tiny minority.
