Heading to Navarro in the morning, is there a bait store in Frost? I didn't want to buy minnows in Mexia and have a die off on the drive up there. Any help would be appreciated.

The Marina on NM sells minnows as well as several service stations near the lake on Hwy 31.

Slow... that's because I haven't showed up yet!!!

Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own, instead of someone elses.

People actually USE minnows? Blue/white tube jig is a killer on that lake...Just saying...try it sometime, you might just be pleasantly surprised...then you can feed the addiction...

The lake has just recently gotten back to normal. Then those 2 or 3 fronts came in last week. My hunch is that its fixin to fire up here in the very near future. Went last Saturday on the East side of Wolf Creek between the 2 boat ramps. was there about 4 1/2 hours and caught 1 keeper, missed what was probably 2 other keepers but lost them due to equipment malfunction (possibly operator error) and caught 3 little dinks all in about 6' to 8'.
