The 2nd qualifying event for Kings Of Cowtown will be held at Lake Worth on Sunday April 17th. If you didn't qualify on the last one, here is your second shot at it. If you have already qualified, feel free to come fish it as an open tournament and help raise the purse for Kings of Cowtown. I will invite the top 10 teams that have not yet qualified. * Lake Worth (registration and weigh in will be at the 820 ramp)
* $100 entry fee and $10 big bass
* 70% payback (the 30% that is held back will go to the purse at KOC)
* optional $50 side pot paying back 1/5 and 100%
* Start/Stop times will be announced the morning of tournament
* TTO rules apply

I thought in the post where you gave a schedule of the 3 tournaments, the April 17th tournament would be on Lewisville. What happened to that?

From my understanding the only ramp available is the one in Little Elm. I would like to give Lake Park a little more time to finish construction so that everyone does not have to drive all the way around the lake.

DK you have got bad information the only ramp that is closed is Lake Park all others are open and are usable even Tower Bay ramp is free to use due to Lake Park being closed. Lake Park will be closed by the city till late fall or early winter so I guess Lewisville is out for fishing for King Of Cowtown. Hope this clears up the confusion and please give us more time to prefish these events if you are changing the schedule if you want good participation.

Other ramps may be open but that does not mean you can obtain the required permit. The only ramp on Lewisville where TD's can get a permit is Little Elm until Lake Park reopens.

Exactly what Scott has mentioned. There is a little more red tape involved in organizing a tournament other than picking a ramp and setting up the scales. If we have to use the Little Elm ramp next month then so be it. I try and make these as convenient as possible for all involved. I don't like changing lakes and dates but sometimes it is the best thing to do. I promise Lake Lewisville will be next month even if we have to use the Little Elm Ramp

Donnie speaking of Lewisville do u realize u have it scheduled on a holiday weekend, could be a cluster,also don't schedule it on a tbc weekend, I need to qualify. ...... lol

Man I'm glad we qualified that rain is gonna be miserable. Good luck and try to stay dry.

15 teams showed up today. We had a lightning delay until 9am. Everyone that signed up decided to wait it out. Fishing was brutal and extremely wet today. These guys must have really wanted to qualify to wait the storm out. Thanks to all that came out. The last qualifier will be on Lewisville next month. I will post details shortly
