I will be running guided creek trips for Sandies and Crappie for the next few months. I will also run lake trips on both lakes as well from a larger boat. 2 people 6 hours trips up Denton Creek, Hickory Creek and Pecan Creek. Great time to catch lots of number. Been fishing these creeks over 20 years. You can email me at jackywiggins@verizon.net for more info and questions.

They are boat trips and no bank trip. Lots of water in all the creeks and boat fishing is better than the bank this year. Email me for prices and any other info.

No problem getting up the creek by boat this year! lol was up Denton creek a few weeks back when it was 11+ ft high. It looked crazy. Didn't fish though, just toruing around. I was wondering how the sandbass fishing was up there this year with it so high.

When the water is higher they just move further up Denton creek toward I-35 W and also move up Henrietta creek toward 114. Henrietta creek has clearer water.

Seems kind of late in the game for some of the creeks, I still have creeks producing but it was much better last month and lack of rain will not help. Maybe this rain that is coming next week will kick off another frenzy, How long have you been guiding?

I only fish on days that end in Y!

White Bass still biting in Henrietta Hole up Denton Creek today. Also caught a real nice Blue Cat as a bonus. The hole was full of Gar as it usually is early in the spring. Some creeks are slowing down a little. Water was already 66 degrees in the hole. Been taking people part time for almost 20 years and just decided to start running trips full time.

Still catching good numbers of fish and have a few spots open in the next few weeks. Been seeing a bit more crappie up the creeks this week.

Unable to make it all the way into Henrietta Hole on Denton Creek trip this morning. Creek dropped 3 ft since last Friday. Bite was a bit slow and we would pick up a fish or two every few 100 ft. Never really found them stacked in any certain hole or stretch. None of the sandies we caught had spawned yet. Hopefully this weeks rain will kick off one last good run for Denton Creek.
