Love these things year 'round.
Especially good on pressured water or blue bird highs.

Shaky head, wacky style, drop shot, whatever.
Bait casting, spinning....they work.

What colors and rig do you prefer?

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.

Green pumpkin, green pumpkin tomato, tomato seed, junebug, watermelon candy, and spicy craw, depending on water clarity. Drop shot, or keel weighted screw lock hook.

Decoy Screw Worm 106

I'm the kinda fisherman that likes to make my own path and do things differently. One technique that has really paid off for me on high pressured waters is threading a trick worm on a Screw Worm 106 hook and fishing it around docks. I just kinda hop it and swim it along on the surface. It's definitely a technique not a lot of anglers are doing out there on the water.

Merthiolate on a c-rig can be deadly. Natural colors on a shaky head. Don't fish wacky style much and never fish drop shot (cuz I'm hard headed)!

I fish them T rigged with a 3/16 oz bullet weight-many days they work better than a regular plastic
worm. The 3/16 oz holds the front end on the bottom and the tail lifts up and suspends.

Watermelon red Char tail on 3/16 oz pegged bullet... Have caught fish from 7# to dinks on this set-up. Wear them out on a Lake Conroe around Dock/bulkhead intersection on this.. Actuall have the what I call the "ladder pattern" on this bait. I potch it on top step of the steps leading from dock to water and hop it down esch step... Fish wear it out

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways with a fishing rod in one hand, 10# LMB in the other, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and yelling "Wow! What a Ride!
