I have never been there and not wanting any of your secret fishing spots but rather would like to know where on the lake is a good place to stay if taking family. Would like a location that can accommodate something for small kids to do, has clean cabins, rooms or whatever, maybe has boat slips or stalls and so on.
Now with that said, if anyone wants to volunteer information on where a good fishing spot is that my grandsons, 5 and 7 can actually catch some bass, feel free to share that with me as well.
But mostly need info on where we can have a nice stay.
Thanks

Call Uncle Bill Fondren. We've stayed at his place and it is nice! Great for families with kids. He can get you on the fish, too. Super nice gentleman.

Wacky worms and senkos around flooded brush on points and secondary points. Mid lake area, veach, caney etc. Watermelon red or anything natural.

Powell Park has cabins, boat stalls and big swim area with inflatable slides etc. for the kids. While you are there book a pontoon trip with Roger Bacon(If he has any openings), he runs his Crappie trips out of Powell and you and the kids will have a blast with him.

Lake has flooded bushes from one end to the other. Plenty of fish to be caught no matter where you are. Buck bay area, veach, five fingers are always productive

I think this thread should be pinned.
