I have an in law from Michigan coming down and staying at the omni for the nascar race. We were hoping to go to Grapevine for a little bit. Does anyone have any recent reports? I saw that they are dropping it quickly. Didn't know what that has done to the fish.

I haven't been out there in months . . .but with the water dropping, the water warming, and the wind blowing, I'd be cranking the points and secondary points. Hopefully you can get a current report before you guys head out. Good luck.

Flip/pitch large profile, dark colored (black neon) plastics to flooded brush 3-10 feet of water.

Same location Joey J mentioned and if they aren't hitting the plastic try a white mini chatter or a sexy shad squarebill. Several coves on south side with flooded timber that's usually decent.

Caught several while crappie fishing on Monday in flooded brush in 2-8' on crappie jigs.
