I have been sinking one of these per location. Do you think that is enough? They are 8 to 10 foot around and 12 foot high.

One will hold some fish. I like huge piles if I can swing it! More the better I figure but I'm just a hack. I would do something to the bases to keep them from falling over or getting displaced too much.

I've got a source for some Boo I wanna try to enhance a couple spots with on Fork.

in a week, all of the pretty little koala bear leaves will fall off, and it will be like mopsticks in a bucket, with little branches shooting off. I would drop 3 to a spot. I would also try to make them lay on thier sides. Most times a few fish will hang near the base (bucket)when they are upright, . the more stuff near the bottom, the more will congregate.
the branches arent big enough to provide much shade, cover, ambush hiding area, ect.
over time, it may bring some baitfish, but its a real smooth surface and not the best for stuff to latch onto.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

The trick to bamboo is getting it from in the ground to in the water as fast as possible. This is how we do ours. Two or three cinder blocks stacked on top of each other. Stuff the "trunk" end through the holes so that the limbs hold them in place. It will make BIG X. The ends will float up high because of the air trapped in the boo.

I sank 14 of them in November. The bamboo had been cut for two days. I went back and checked them last month. They were still standing and still had leaves on them. Two of the locations I dropped two all the rest are singles. How long before they hold fish well? I may need to go back and add to them

It won't take long. Maybe a week or so. Sometimes overnight. Cover is cover.

It's like real estate...location, location, location.

To whom much is given, much is required.
