The 'feel safe with inflatable pfd' thread got me re-evaluating my boating.

I only wear inflatable PFD's because I can't find a standard one that is comfortable enough to wear all the time while driving (I don't wear one while fishing).

What do you big guys wear? One that I wouldn't hesitate to wear. I'm 6'0" 320lbs

I am a big guy as well, same weight a little taller. I got mine from Bass Pro, it is a 4xl with 4 buckles and will fit over jackets and rain gear in the winter. I wear mine whenever the big motor is running and it is comfortable. I have tested it by jumping in the lake and just floating there and it holds me up with no issues. This is the 3rd one I have bought from them, sweat and sunscreen tend to wear out the part that go up around my neck.

I just bought a 4X for a few of the guys I have with me sometimes, I paid under $30.00 for it through Cabelas online, Cabelas brand!

Bass Pro Shops XPS Deluxe is a really great jacket. A XXXL or even and XXL should fit you comfortably. I wear an XXL. I am 5'9" and 250lb. I can wear a heavy coat or my 100mph gear under it and still have room to move around. It has a nice collar that does chafe, one felt lined pocket that is nice and warm on a cold morning run and is made from premium materials. I don't work for BPS but do really like their Life jackets.
