I notice on lakes braunig and calavaras many stripers are caught on chicken livers, of all things! Does anyone use these on other lakes? Any luck? captdavid

Lovfldx catches hybrids on chicken livers at some places up in Dallas.

The Elm Fork hybrids seem to have a misguided fondness for chicken liver on occasion. Most of the time the cats don't give them time to see it!

I have a bud that works for tpwd who clued me in that when these fish are in the fisheries tanks they are fed protein pellets whose main ingredient is chicken by products. I guess it tastes like mom used to make.
