After this much SPAM.....I wouldn't buy your book for a dollar.

You're giving Donald Harper a run for his money!

LOL! I wonder how many more 7-10 lb bass could have been caught from these spots with a diamond dust hank parker minnow scented living rubber $43 spinnerbait.

It was moved to P&A from the Bass Fishing section.

It is a great book for us "older" guys.
Printed in 2nd grade size font & only 86 pages long, so it only takes few hours to read.
Buy it for the stories and not the "map". Thos places are either gone(changed) or all fished out.
But the stories are great.

My fishing buddies in Louisiana tell me the fish are back in the old structure holes in the grass now.
Might have to make another run over my 17 mile stretch of big bass holes.
All of the spots I marked on my map in my book have one thing in common drops in water depth. Many of them quick stair stepping from 5-10-17-20-35ft into creeks. All within one cast length.
Ken Addington set up a lunch at Uncle Bucks this Friday in Grapevine. We are going to talk big bass fishing techniques where and how to catch them. Everyone is welcome to come if you are interested.

Enjoyed reading your book. I'm amazed y'all found those log piles with just a flasher. I have a difficult time interpreting what I see on modern side and down scan. I want to learn though as I remember an elite tour pro tell a story about having his rod jerked out of his hand after fishing a jig over a log pile in the southern half of TB in the elite tournament in June 2012. BTW I found some black Bassbuster hair jigs on eBay. Haven't tried them yet.

The hair jig was overtaken with the introduction of rubber skirted jigs. It is my experience that in old weather the hair jig will out perform a rubber jig. Hair jigs are very popular in the north for smallmouth and walleye. I personally believe a hair jig offers a Breyer replica of the fins of a crappie or bream due to the fine thickness of the true buck tail hair. Black and yellow and black and orange are my colors of choice.
