Water temp was 63* in Ash Creek....perfect water just zero activity. Nothing. Birds flying but no divers and marina didn't produxe anything either. Great day to be on the water, well in coves, pockets and creeks- main lake still had some decent rollers

We got totally skunked yesterday at Eagle Mountain. Agree it was PERFECT DAY besides the lack of a bite for us. Water still a little murky but better than some reports I had been reading. We tried everything...nothing! Ugh! My daughter said it was such a perfect day though she still leaves satisfied! smile I like her refreshing opinion of the day and I needed it! Anxious to see the results of the tourney on Sunday to find out if we were just completely in the wrong places!

Your post of catching that big one with your daughter is what motivated me in trying the southern creeks.....just seemed like it would have been a great day, but was just dead. Worth today on the other hand, produced some bites, no big ones, just dinks, drums and a decent sandie. NO ONE in my house wants to go back to EM, even though we live 5 mins from Twin Peaks.

It's tough after getting skunked!! We even found tons of bait fish back in some of those creeks on Saturday but could NOT make anything happen! Well...another lake another day! For some reason that lake is easy for us to get to and draws us back...but don't like leaving empty handed. Thanks for the info. on Worth.

Sounds like the tourney on Sunday caught 16-21 lbs. That's not bad so if you can find those fish...you might be alright!

Good luck!
