Well dang glad I was corrected! I know it works that way on Caddo(or so I've been told the last 6 years) and the same person told me that about Toledo so never questioned it. Makes sense but when does that ever apply to anything the government does?!?!?!

fish- if you have a TX license you are good to launch from TX side ramps. if you launch "on" the LA side you would need the LA license. No,,,,you do not. You are go to go anywhere, from anywhere on Toledo Bend with either license.

Makes sense but when does that ever apply to anything the government does?!?!?! because Toledo Bend was a joint venture between Texas & Louisiana, both states shared expenses to build the lake.......

Called the lady at the LADWF Pineville office and she said that Yes the licenses are good for either side of Toledo Bend or Caddo. I was def told wrong which actually kinda sucks cus I didn't have a TX license for a few years and didn't want to take my small johnboat that far from a LA launch but I could have just used Johnsons(Caddo)... ah well live and learn!
