The village Inn has always been great to me! And it's just down the road from the dam. Not sure what County Road it's off of but you can Google it. And when the lake is full there's a boat ramp and 2 roofed courtesy docks.

Stayed at Stompys Sat night great place, will be back super clean. Great guy to spend
time with while cooking dinner exchanging fishing stories. His ranch will take care
of bass clubs also.

I am fishing this weekend also. I heard the bite was extremely tough and to not even bother going out there, but I really wanted to. I hope it's not as bad as everyone says it is.

Don't stay in Breckenridge unless you're staying at Stompys. Otherwise, you're better off staying in Eastland at the Holiday in Express or Laquinta.
