I'm looking at a late 90's Cobra Viper 201D, but I've never heard much about them. Anything to look for or note on these models of boats?

Get it checked out. It's a good platform, had one.

I had a 1996 Cobra. Bought it new and kept it for 12 years. Great boat. Never had any issues with it.

I bought my 98 201d 4 years ago. Had it checked out like mentioned and it has been a great boat.

I had a 98 201D. Great running boat, rides and handles like a Champion. Like a previous person said, get it checked out before pulling the trigger. I can't recall for sure, but I think that might have been a John Storie designed hull.

Great boats. Fast, smooth riding, and huge front deck! Easy to fish 2 people up front. Have it all checked out and pull the trigger you won't be sorry. I miss mine.

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

Thanks guys! I'll definitely get it checked by a mechanic if I decide to pull the trigger.
