Last night I stopped at Lake Granbury for some catfishing. I only had about an hour, so I figured I'd throw a line in and hope for the best. Caught six striper in that hour, zero catfish.

Sizes were 3.5lbs, 4lbs, 4.5lbs, 5.5lbs and 6.5lbs. The only one out of order by size was the 5.5lb fish. Caught that one first, then went to the 3.5 and worked my way back up.

I wouldn't complain about that. Good eating.

Using cut or live shad?

Yeah, it wasn't really a bad thing, just not what I was going for.

MrNovice, it was cut shad.

Yep, they love shad. Live even better. Good catches though, striper are fun to land.
