What is the best line to eliminate line twist at the tip of a long crappie rod (14 ft)? Im tired of this issue and am willing to go to braid or anything else based on what you guys have done to eliminate the problem Thanks.

As in you could let out 10ft of line and watch your jig turn circles? Only way I found to fix that problem is either use braid or a barrel swivel with a leader.

I agree, braid!

I recently tried braid for the first time after resisting it for years. Now I have a hard time ever using monofilament. The price was a little hard to handle, and it is much harder to break off if you're tangled, but not having to deal with twisting line, especially when I finally find the fish, is worth it.

Really thought this thread was going to be about something else.
