I have a u boat version of a float tube. I am a teenager and feel like i would sit too low in the water. Has anybody had this problem, and how would you suggest to make a tipe of " booster seat" out of foam?

I'm really not sure, but my float tube seat begins to feel a little uncomfortable after I sit in it a few hours and I have thought about using one of the floats that boats must have on board to throw to someone in the water if needed. It looks like a square cushion, floats, and might work.

Use a closed-cell swimming pool float (mattress) and glue it to the tube's seat.

V boats sit higher than U boats, some sit out of water.
The pool float idea will have to be cut to seat size, but you might need more than 1 layer depending on your required comfort/ lift. Make holes about 2 inches back from the edge and use 1/4 inch rope to stitch around the outside of the U tube if there is an open bottom, something like the tire tube rental places do with plastic bottoms. If you sit up too high, the U can easily tip over.
