I've only ever caught 1 crappie out there and it was a complete accident. I was tossing out a 1/4 oz red eye shad and I got a pretty large crappie to take it. I've seen people pluck crappie up by the docks close the filter building, but I personally have no idea where they hang out in WRL.

Took the Hobie up the creek last week while it was warmer. Couldn't find anything.

There was a ton of recreational paddlers which may have spooked the fish.

They're in there. Lost about a 4lber today. The move quite frequently and are hard to pin down. I caught a largemouth last summer that weighed 7lbs. I know of bass close to 10lbs coming out of WRL. Don't give up, just takes a little more gumption to catch fish on that particular body of water! Tight lines

In my opinion, if you really want to catch some crappie, just go to another lake that has better crappie action. They are definitely in WRL but like people have said, they are hard to figure out. Personally I would make the extra effort to go to a better crappie lake.

Has anyone found a chart of White Rock? I would be surprised if it exists but wondered if anyone has had better luck than me in searching
