Hello, i am new to this forum ,and was wondering what you guys would use for suckers and carp. You may list rod, line, flies and extra stuff. I have been seeing alot lately ,and from what i have read they are the fishing version of hunting auodad.THANKS!

trashonthefly.com has some good info for N Texas carping on the fly. The Sucker Punch is a fine fly.

i don't know about auodad hunting, i would refer it more to stalking javelina with a bow on corned roads.

have to agree with that. They do make you cover ground like hunting audad at times. but your going to be up close and personal with carp. No 300 win mag or barrett 50 needed. If they are active land it in the sight radius and if they are actively feeding they will most likely eat. I think the toughest part is going to be recognizing the take and getting a Hookset before they spit your fly out.
