fished a few hours on Lake Dunlap this morning. Surprised to see all the debris and damage from the big floods last fall. Great numbers day counting in the high 30's but ABSOLUTELY NOT 1 FISH EVEN OVER 6" Current is still amazingly strong, water cold compared to any other lake or stream ive been fishing lately.

Kent, what weight fly rod were you using to catch those sunnies? I just a minute ago used Google Earth to look at Lake Dunlap and realized I have never been on it. Back in the 1990s my buddy and I fished on Lake McQueeney several times. What is the closest place from IH-35 that you can launch a small boat to fish on Dunlap?
