Headed to Dangerfield next week. I have caught pickerel, bass, and crappie from there but no catfish, Any general info as to where they like to hang out this time of year. the lake is spring feed, so I don't know if there is a drastic change in water temp the gets them heading shallow this time of years.
Any comments will be appreciated Sorry I will be in a kayak or a canoe.

Probably a good bet to bring some nightcrawlers. That will catch channel cats and whatever else shows up.

I second what Brian said on night crawlers? I'd try shallow or in the mouth of a creek feeding the lake.

Thanks will try the night crawlers. Don't know why I don't associate night crawlers with catfishing. I know they will catch anything in the area.
I am planning on the shallow areas also. I will call the park a day or so out and talk to one of the rangers.
Will post any results from my trip.
