Grew up in that part of the state before I spoke Spanish we called it lano lol six man football country will do that haha. Looks like a sweet trip bud. Probably not quite as fast as I've been pounding these sandies lol. But great looking fish!

@lambcotx Here's the low down on the pronunciation. "Everyone who knows even the smallest bit of Spanish wants to use the correct Spanish pronunciation, in which the double "L" is said like a "Y" (when the "Y" functions as a consonant). When in Austin, you can say it in Spanish, but when you�re in Llano, try saying "Lano" with a short "A". The residents will appreciate your indulgence." Regardless of how any one chooses to pronounce Llano, it's a great River set in a great part of Texas. The people that I came into contact with in and around Castell/Llano were kind and friendly, the Texas way. I'll be back to fish it again.

Well I don't know about Spanish but I'm half Mexican, learned how to speak espanole from the mojados on the ranch and farm. Just didn't want you to sound like a tourist.

@JdDurango Yea it's customized specifically for my model yak. Marine Mat makes them for all Diablo models. I'm ProStaff with Diablo so I had the pleasure of putting it on myself at the Diablo shop with the help of the owners Thomas and Megan. Its relatively easy. You just have to make sure you get it right the first time cause once it's down its not coming back up.
