Thinking about hitting Palestine this weekend. Wanted to know about where I can run. I've heard that south of 155 is pretty clear. Please correct me if that's not true. I know the upper end is a mess with stumps. Also for those of you that fish it some, if the lower end is pretty clear would I do better fishing more spots on the lower end, or putting in and just dropping the T-motor on the upper end. Thanks!

There are fish on beds all over the south end. I would try down there. It was good today.

Listen to Jason he knows what happening on Palestine for sure. If u launch in flat creek u can drop
Trolling motor and start fishing just head under bridge and run the bank with moving baits when u get bit slow down. Don't even bother idling in flat though lots of trees less than 2ft under water plenty of great fishing though not sure about clairty though

South end was pretty clear today. I saw several vacant beds near the dam. Had 5 smaller buck bass and a decent 4# chunk. They weren't to active it didn't seem today. I guess the cold front gave them lockjaw. Did see a few balls of fry as well.

Fished just south of 155 today. Caught 5. It was extremely slow and muddy.

Fished Kickapoo today very stained to muddy water but fish were actively feeding, just not on what I was tossing.

I was on the lake from Wed to Sat, not sure how you could see beds as the water clarity was 0. Would be curious to know where there were beds as I searched for bass most of the time, except daybreak and sundown for hybrids, and couldn't catch anything of any size. I fished the coves down by the dam, chimney, leadbetter, saline bay.

just because you can't see them doesn't mean they are not there, fish where you think the beds should be

Fished down south today found semi clean water. The shad spawn looked to be taking off down there, anyone see it happening mid to upper lake?
