Anyone who can help me with running Tawakoni, please PM me. I have never been on it and am trying to not take lower unit off. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Run the edges. There is a path through the middle, from shore-to-shore in main lake, but I can't help you with exactly where it is.

The main lake may look clear, but it isn't. Run up to the bridge or down to the dam to cross.

Stay 75 yards off the shore, stay out of the middle!!! It's a hidden forest of petrified hardwoods!

That lake is scary i won't ever make a trip back if I don't have to.

I got the map below a few years ago from this site - can't remember who made it. Good luck.

Water level is up...hard to see the lanes. If you don't know, dont risk it. There are also a bunch of solo trees not in the jungle. You don't want to find one of those at 60 mph.

Frank, if you look at the map and go by that you wil be fine. The little yellow dots mark a couple of stumps, but with the water up you will be ok.
