Fished the pier at Decker Hill Park Easter Sunday afternoon. Caught a chunk, wife missed one just as big, but those were the only bites in about two hours. Are they shallow still? I'm currently a bank banger, so your GPS coords are safe with me!! wink

Haven't been in a few days but I was still finding some spawners in the skinny water. The females I've been catching are still full of eggs.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

Haven't been there yet this year, but going Saturday. Heard a good report fishing brushpiles in 10-15 ft.

We had a good day kept 20 from 5-12 ft of water. Caught most on jigs in brush water is pretty murky.

Good catch! Murvaul stays murky year round but it sure grows some big fish.

Fished pier at Decker/Hill Park yesterday for a couple of hours. Caught three, with one being the biggest of this old fellers life.just shy of 3#. Love that lake!! Does anyone know if Camp Pirtle still exists? Went there back in the 60's while in the Scouts.

If that's the scout camp by the dam, it's still there.
