Folks have been catching a few in three feet of water. Shallow flat warms quicker. Some fish on brush in the eight to ten foot range.

Now we are going to have heavy thunderstorms, high winds, and two inches of rain to muddy things up.

How do you experts think this is going to set the party back?

Where to search first for fish when the weather breaks Friday?

To complicate matters, the Corps begins to work towards summer pool tomorrow.

Thanks for any wisdom you might share.

May not be much help from TX. Don't know what your water temp is but I see there's a couple cool nights up north after this front passes. And if I remember, the summer pool means raising the lake level. My guess is this may scatter the fish. May have to look in some different areas depending on how much extra water the lake gets. KY Lake has a lot of shallow water so two more feet can really move the fish. I'd look where they were last, then move a little shallower, then back out a little deeper if they're not there. The fish aren't going to run off from where they want to spawn. They will stay in the general area, just might not want to bite for a couple days. Good fish
