Had a great morning at Lake Fork with my brother and my nephew who are visiting from Montana. We fished Monday evening and all day Tuesday and caught a few here and there but nothing really big. At the very end of the day yesterday we found an area with spawning fish. We raced there this morning at first light and were rewarded with several really solid fish including these 2. My nephew caught the first fish within the first few casts and it weighed 6.1 lbs. Most of our fish were caught on a senko style bait with a 1/16th oz weight pegged about 8 inches above the bait. Also caught a few on lizards. Unfortunately we all had to be off the lake by 10 this morning to head home or I'm sure we would have caught many more. Luckily I get to come back in less than 2 weeks!

Nice memories for sure. I'm going to try and get some Fork memories as soon as I get off work this morning.
