I'm at the point in my life I'm always looking for a bargain. For work I buy $90 dress shirts when they are on sale for $19.95 at Jos A Bank. This came up on BBC and I thought I'd post it here. I'm not a fan of all the oversized logos on so many "fishing shirts" and was doing some online searches. I came across these and at $8.99 I thought they are a steal. Very high reviews. They arrived yesterday and I'm impressed with them so I'm passing the info along. http://www.hanes.com/hanes/sale/mens-sale/sale-mens3/hanes-mens-long-sleeve-t-shirt-24270And no, I'm not sponsored by Hanes! If you've come across a fishing related bargain lately, post it here

These are my favorite cheap fishing shirts--quick dri material with long sleeves that go over the hands and hood all provide excellent protection from the sun and keep you cool. I've seen them cheaper at some of the stores, but this is the online price

They are at most of the Walmarts in the Men's clothing department--on many items, you can online order free in store delivery/pick up (not sure on these) They are also selling pants made from the same dri cool material for the same price (bought some in store)--really like them also.

Was at a WalMart about 20 years ago and they had a Lew's David Fritz 7'6" glass crankbait rod in a clearance bin for $5. Asked the sales person if this was correct. He said it was. Asked if he had any more but that was it. Great rod! Broke it about a year ago.

Probably won't be at Fork until w/e after next, but I'll bring it then. If you're around, I'll be happy to meet you. If not, I'll leave it for you at one of the local marinas. Just say which. How's that for a bargain?

Makes it 2 for $5. Lol.
The other day someone posted a special buy 1 get 2 free Halo Daylight rods. I figured hell, for $30 a rod, even if they suck I can use them as catfish or crappie rods. . .they're supposed to get here tomorrow. We'll see. . .I have low expectations so hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

It was at my house in 3 days but It does say 6-10 is average. They ship USPS. I just looked in my email at the receipt for confirmation.

How's that for a bargain? Fouz, did I ever tell you about my G-loomis that broke..... Oh heck, who am I kidding. I been trying to break that rod for 17 years now. That thing is going to last for ever.
I hate photobucket.
