Heading up to Hutto on Monday for two days of crappie fishing on Granger and maybe Walter Long or anywhere else in that area. Anyone know what the crappie fishing is like from the bank and where to fish? It will be my first time in the area and I will be by myself just checking everything out before hauling my boat up from San Antonio if the crappie fishing is worth it. Thanks in advance!

Finally got to get up there! Caught over 79 crappie in two day outing. Most were 9 to 9 3/4 inches. Lots of 12s caught and a few 13 and 14s. They still have not spawned and probably want for another week to 3 weeks due to the weather up there in the area. 6 of these were females with eggs.
