Ive got a MAriner 80hp that Ive had set up for several years. I took the top off and it is coated in mud dobber nests all on the inside. Ive broken all of them off I can see so other than a bunch of places of mud residue all over everything where the nests were, there is a large amount of mud nest pieces and debris down in the powerhead all around it that I cant get to. Can water be sprayed down in there or around on the powerhead for that matter? If not, how do I get all this stuff out? Thanks.

You need to pull the air cover off of the front anyway to check for the mud dobbers. Put something in each carb. Spray away.
