I have blue top Optima batteries. New in early 2013 for my 36v Fortrex trolling motor. Seem to be feeling weak. Can these deep cycle/AGM batteries be charged and then load tested like a conventional "starting battery" to see if they are wore out? Thank you, 361v.

Normally starting batteries are tested with internal resistance which is good for CCA.
Testing a deep cycle battery for capacity is more involved and requires special equipment if you want a accurate test, IMO.
