Are there any Strike King reps on line today. I have a quality issue with the Rage Tail Craw I would like to PM about.

I have noticed a change in the Rage Tail Craws lately and was wondering if anyone else has had an issue. The arms seem to be thinner now and the Claws do not flap. They just fold up. I have used them as Swim jig trailers for a couple of years but lately the arms don't flap they just collapse. I went thru 4 packs of white ones and 3 packs of Okeechobee Craw this weekend and found them to all be the same. I got out some Watermelon red I bought last year and they performed excellent.

Has Rage Tail changed the formula?

I can't answer your question but if you went through 5 packs they apparently were still catching fish just fine!

This is a total plug as I have nothing against the Rage Tail Craw but Gene Larew recently came out with the Wheeler's Punch Out Craw that makes a fantastic swim jig trailer. My brother in law got to experience some in the boat this weekend and they worked great.

Check out Natural Forage Baits. They have a Mad Craw that is very similar to the Rage Craw and they still flap.

Ive bought a few packs recently and have noticed anything. Bad batch maybe? In my experience with strike king if you give them a call and let them know your issue they will probably replace them for you.

Send Steve Parks (Big-O) a message. He's the creator of the rage tail line and he's a perfectionist when it comes to their production.

If they aren't coming out right or if there was a bad batch, he will get it fixed.

They were NOT hitting it. I went thru 4 packs trying to find one that didn't fold up. I finally took one off of another jig and used it. Caught a 3 and a 2 within about 10 minutes. I will contact Steve Parks as mentioned above. Thanks for the contact.
