I have a couple of questions:

1. What super glue are you using that doesn't dry up in the container? I've used a few different ones and they don't seem to last long before they are dry.

2. How long does mend it last before it's unusable?

What epoxy are you using? How long does it take to dry once you apply?

I use slow cure (60 minutes) and fast cure (5 minutes). Don't try the one minute stuff, it's just too fast. I use clear and JB weld epoxy.

I think I will try some superglue gel and see how that works. Then, move to epoxy if I'm not happy with it.

Thanks for the info.

I use the gel super glue too, Lot better shelf life and less messy.
I prefer the 3:16 glue to mend it myself, it works better IMO. As far as shelf life, never had any go bad on me. I use it often to repair my chewed up soft swimbaits.
