Fishing tournament yesterday. Fished all day and no problems. Right before heading to weigh-in, it wouldn't get on plane. Seemed bogged down like it does when grass or something is on motor. I raised the motor up and nothing was on prop. I tried again and had my son get on the front deck. It had a hard time at first but then suddenly got going and planed out and ran fine the 3 or 4 miles back to the ramp. Didn't try again.

Any ideas what could have caused the loss of power? It's a 2007 Mercury ProXS 250 with 150 hours.
I'm taking it out again this week or weekend and will see if it happens again.

Coil pack going out

The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything. Remember what He has done and remember that He is not done yet!-- GOD IS GOOD

Google seems to think so also.

If that's what it is what am I facing? Looks like it's a pretty common problem. Hopefully I can run it soon and if I still have problems I have a good service place pretty local. They are normally Pretty speedy if it's not a major repair.

When I got it a few months ago it only had 130. Might be what's wrong. It wasn't used to being ran.
