So my wife calls me at 1:30 on Saturday as I'm in the middle of a real estate deal that I'm sweating to get closed. She's panicked and frustrated because our beautiful but slightly cluttered freshman daughter whose home from Baylor, has lost her car key to the used Kia I bought her from an individual a couple years back. Now my wife is rattling on and on about 100 mph about how she's went to three different dealerships 30 minutes away, and the first one said she had to go to a Kia dealer, then the second one across the metromess was open but parts dept was closed on Saturday when she got there. Then the third one she crashed into said "we make keys but not that one because the machine to program is too expensive." Now she's told to go to Moritz Kia because they have a machine but they close at 2:00 and its now 1:40.
Now at this point in her high pitched story, which I've basically tuned out on my end of the line because im worried about this property I'm buying, she's about to lose it!
Remembering that she said the word "Moritz" somewhere in this rant of hers, I just said "STOP. Call my boy Monte Coon. Here's his number, he's not at a Kia store but tell him you're my wife and he will set your world back on its axis."
10 minutes later she had her new key, my kids able to drive back to Baylor and Monte Coon is her hero. It's stuff like this that is the reason why you buy vehicles from Monte Coon...because he's a Git Er Done and a Helluva Guy.
Service AFTER you buy a vehicle or a boat or an RV or even a tooth filling is what your paying for. It's peace of mind..... It's letting the husband get back to work while mom and the kids aren't freaking out on you.
