Haven't been on the lake since Tuesday but Was having trouble getting bit in the bushes and moved out and did some mid depth cranking on ML points for some decent fish/numbers.

Earlier had been catching on splitshot and wacky Senkos (PB&J and black/blue)

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Can't go wrong with a black blue beaver or watermelon red baby brush hog

I just spent six days there.... and I only produced a single 1/2 lb fish, and i hooked another that broke me off in a bush. unbelievable - I can't believe I'm even admitting this.

I shot super shallow where I could get my boat in,
I shot at the edges of the bush line.
I shot the middle of the bush line
I shot the creek channels.

I threw swim jigs, senko's, lizards, baby brush hogs, spinner baits, chatter baits, poppers, buzz baits, and almost resorted to grenades.

lots of similar reports at the boat docks. But later in the week some reported 7 to 10 a day towards the weekend.. so I dunno.

I will be going next week for four days. Is there any hydrilla in the lake?

Fished Friday caught close to 50. Nothing over 4 pounds though. Same pattern that worked last year during the flood and every time it gets high. Zero hydrilla that I found.

What hydrilla was left from last year will undoubtedly be gone now. Soo much cover in lake the fish have plenty to get in without it

I have been catching good numbers with T-rig Senkos on the hardwoods and buck brush.
