Just got home from Academy in Garland, where I grabbed half a dozen bottles of Gulp Alive Grubs @ .98 each! Reg price is $5.95. Might wanna check your local store for similar savings...

Academy at 1604 and Bandera in San Antonio did not have any in stock. Do not know if somebody beat me to them or if they are on sale.

The special was "unmarked". I went in for other things, needed a bottle of the chartreuse grubs and about died when it rang up .98... Went back and grabbed the other five bottles they had. They still had "natural" color and a couple of other types, but the only other one I wanted was the minnows, which they were out of. Would love to get a dozen bottles of those at that price.

Nice find. Those grubs are great in Late Winter/Early Spring and in the Dog Days of Summer. They are great for drop shot rigs deep in the weeds in the middle of Summer.

Shopping for clearance stuff at Academy is just another way to extend the fun of fishing...
But my wife hates being with me while I check out with 100's of packages of jigs for $0.28 each.
