I use boat lanes on Fork and its great. My question is: On Rayburn I see some of the lanes run right through where a red X is, surely this is a hazard area, so I assume its idle or just don't go (Is this correct?) Next, there are no lanes going into the creek arms, like Harvey etc. Can you run up the arms at all?? Im just trying to not get in a bad situation while learning the lake a little bit. Thanks..

Not really boat lanes on Rayburn. I know a few arms you need to idle in though.

There are a few lanes on Rayburn around the bridge and also running up to the 103. No lanes in the creeks. At this level you can pretty much run anywhere below the 147 although I'd still go around the Forest.

Like Latta said. Below 147 is pretty easy. Above 147 can be a hazard. The back of Harvey does have stumps. Hug the West Bank till you hit the creek channel swinging by the point.

At below normal pool the red x's are shallow areas.

I noticed some the lane's on Rayburn go straight from pint to point, not even in the lake, just straight from two points. I bought all if the Boatlanes lakes and just uploaded them to a new Helix 12. Anyone seen this issue?

On my boatlane map for Rayburn I have 2 color trails. Yellow and red. The yellow is pretty much safe to run at lower Lake levels. The red trail, the one that runs along hazards, is only safe at full pool.

Thanks, I'll go back and check mine again. I was looking at the routes on Humminhbird PC and google earth so maybe that's the issue. I've never been on Rayburn in my boat do trying to plan a trip. There's a high school tournament out of Jackson Hill that my son may fish.

When in doubt, trim her out. There are a lot of "Trails" on Rayburn.

The faster you go the less boat in water to hit anything.

The faster you go the less boat in water to hit anything. Yeah, I know that and the more damage you do if you hit something! I don't know much about Rayburn but know I need to have an idea of where I'm going, hence the reason for asking for information.
