All told, I caught about 150 fish in that 5 day span. Mostly bass and spots, but also some huge bluegills, and some dink crappie, and one warmouth. It was fun, and walking distance from my house. The creek is pretty and water is clear, and even the lake had some fairly clear water. I could see the lure working and several times saw the fish flare up on the lure and inhale it. Pretty cool stuff.

Don't need to spend a bunch of money to catch good fish. The really cool thing about urban fishing is that a Whataburger is on the shore, a Walgreens for any first aid stuff that might be needed, and a WalMart across the street to re-load on fishing needs. Once you get to Bachman, no need for a car, you can walk to all these places. 7-11 for adult beverages and snacks, lol!

Urban fishing can be a good thing

Its amazing how most urban creeks are overlooked Rudy. I have caught HEALTHY strong bass sometimes up to 4 lbs in these creeks. The crystal clear running current keeps them lean and mean. I have enjoyed your posts for 6 plus years now and they never get old. Fisb on my friend!!!
