I love catching crappie over piles but when another boat gets too close something always comes over me. It's that unmistakable urge to throw top water lures. We all know that the placement of the bait is of utmost importance.
I bet you can guess what happens next.

Since we already had a lot of fish in the boat, I didn't say anything. I just shook my head and kept reeling them in. They were using corks anyway. No way they were deep enough.

WAY to close. But that's why I try not to use a marker, a good finder with GPS seems to help with that and other things. I would have had to pulled my self between marker and them. If that didn't work would have pulled up marker and left a nice wake on the way out. When im on the lake its for peace and quiet time, not dealing with morons.
