Can someone give me some tips to their spring patterns? I am clueless for Hybrids!
Im not asking for spots, just will they be in the shallow coves right now?
Out on points or drop offs? I caught a ton of them for about 4 days straight on Lewisville about 6 years ago.
That was my one and only time to ever catch them. Now that I live on lake Palestine, I would like to fish for them.
Thanks for any help!

With floods the last two years, I fear most of the big hybids went over the spillway .
Would love for someone to prove this wrong.
I was out yesterday , ran sidescan over points and flats on the south end, I marked no schools, and not much baitfish.
Maybe better mid lake or north end.
Good luck.

Too bad it didn't wash all the catfish over the spillway!

"I caught a ton of them for about 4 days

Therein lies a clue. Killed them on Lewisville....
A local name for L. Palestine....is "The Dead Sea"
when fishing for Hybrids. It's some times good.
Usually fair. And then ..."The Dead Sea"

Reading the Forum...Twak, R.C., or Hubbard are
probably better choices. You might check the
TPW stockings the last 5 years to help make
your destination decision.
