Looking at 721, so would like to hear from Phoenix owners. What changed your mind from other brands of boats to buy a Phoenix?

Go with a different boat if you are going to spend that kind of money

Never fished from a 721 but have spent time in a 920. It's a super nice boat. I'd be proud to have one for sure. I prefer Ranger though.

I run a ranger, I have eyeballed the pheonix, based on the sticker that our local dealer has on them even with a nice break off of it you can pretty much buy anything. At least on the 9 s. It is laughable. Oh, I wish they didn't have those wings or whatever they are. It looks gay like those shirts with flames coming up sleeves, the ones jagaloons wore for a while

I like the single console ones but the Dual console limits your access to some of the compartments.

Considering myself,

Are Phoenix boats part of the old Stratos group? That's a rumor I heard not trying to start.
If so that's it for me

They are a good looking rig, I have heard that they have made good improvements over the first couple of years, they could lose that flame and come up with something a little nicer, but it does grow on you after awhile.

I pretty sure they are not and have not been part of the Stratos group.

If I was buying new I would be looking hard at Phoenix, I couldn't get one when I bought my current boat because phoenix hadn't been out long enough. Imo the 721 is the best deal they have going you can get one for less than the 919 from what I saw when I was looking.

The Phoenix is a brand new boat it is not nor ever been part of the Stratos family. The owners bought the old bumble bee factory and molds and build them till the engineers could complete the new design which is now the Phoenix 721. The engineers had worked for different companies and seen the different designs of different boats. They incorporated all of those different designs into the Phoenix. This is why the ride speed and layout is so well liked. Their are people that do not like the second console being in, it keeps you from using a couple of the really small storage compartments. I do not mine it because you can take the second console out in about 10 seconds with no problem if its in the way and not needed. I wasn't a big fan of the wings in the beginning either but as said above you get used to it after everything the boats gives you. The boat is just so much different then other brands in ride and performance you just do not mine the wings. I guess I look at the wings as something that shows my boat is one I am proud to have. I never felt the same way about the other brands I have owned and they where the top brands. I was just tired of getting my back beat up and I was willing to give up what ever it took to get that. just my.02

I have yet to see one that has been threw the paces. Majority of the guys that run one hard get a new one yearly.... I have heard about a top cap separating from the hull. Warranty may only be transferred once to a second owner.
