I left Stratos for Phoenix but not before looking at what other boats had to offer and I am really happy with the choice I made. I have never been in a smoother riding boat and the lay out is awesome. The wings are there because it symbolizes that these boats will fly. My 919 with a 225 ProXS will push 80mph on GPS. I don't run it that hard but it is fun from time to time. Take a ride in one. You won't be disappointed.

I have yet to see one that has been threw the paces. Majority of the guys that run one hard get a new one yearly.... I have heard about a top cap separating from the hull. Warranty may only be transferred once to a second owner. The only top cap that I know of was a guy in east Tx. I asked my dealer about it he didn't know anything about that [ he is with end 30 miles of where this guy lives] and called the factory. They just said their was more to the story that had nothing to do with Phoenix. I just check and Ranger also only warranties to second under certain conditions. Their is certain conditions to be met by Bass Cat for second owner to. You can get on any forum you want and you will not fine a top cap problem on Phoenix boats. I do know you will have a hard time finding a use one because not many people get rid of their Phoenix every year. I guess it would be hard to say who runs a Phoenix hard and who doesn't with out being in the boat. I do not believe anyone that owns a Phoenix in Texas and fishes Fork,Sam Rayburn, Toledo Bend ,or Falcon in the spring winds can say they don't run the boat in bad/rough water. I do agree with you, most Phoenix boats do not take the beating other boat brands do because their hull is designed to hit the waves softer to easy the stress on the hull and the drivers back.

since it's not one of the big name brands, think about how the resell would be few years after you buy it.

Why do they put such a small windshield on the console; does not appear to serve any purpose as far as blocking the wind.

The windshield works great and as far as the resale, you won't find many for sale very long because they sell really fast. If you haven't watched the classic, you should. There are a lot of Pro's running Phoenix.

The decals on the side of the boat won't last very long either; didn't A-Mart have his motor fall off his Phoenix during a tournament.

Yep The Phoenix 721 was introduced for the first time in 2009 I believe. They start new today around 49,000 try and fine any 721 that sales for less then 40,000. Their are very few 721 you can buy for less then 40. The resale has been great because people just don't put their Phoenix back up for sale. Their is always someone on the Phoenix board on BBC trying to fine one and they just are not out there. The 09 most likely sold new for around 45 so they have lost about 5-7 thousand dollars in 5-6 years. Thats just not bad for any brand boat.

Yes, Martin had his motor come off but really didn't due to two of the bolts breaking when he hit a big wave. Didn't have any thing to due with boat or transom failure.Gary Claus and a couple of others purchased BumbleBee Boats in 2005 and I think they put out the first Phoenix line boat in 2007 or 2008. I can't remember which one it was. When I was looking into a new boat, I got on line and looked at what used boats where up for sale. It amazed me how many Rangers, Legends, Skeeters had posted In my opinion these lines have the used market flooded. When I looked for any Phoenix boats, I couldn't find but a couple. Now I know that may be due to how many more boats these companies build, but maybe Phoenix doesn't want to build as many so they can keep quality up. If you have never really looked at them, then you should before you say negative things about them.

I offered a guy here 38 for a 10 in 13 he mulled it over had a guy not be able to finance it then called me and wanted the 38 I was towing ranger home the day he called.

I have no idea on the quality of a Phoenix, but I was surprised by how many Elites are running them. Go to the Bassmaster site and browse the photo section with the 2016 Elite wraps. Quite a few guys running them.

There are 5 for sale between boattrader and BBC right now average price for the 5 boats which are 1-11, 3-12,and a 14 is 42,000. I am sure you can fine a few stories like yours for people needing to get rid of a boat for different reasons but the resale is very good on Phoenix. They have been for sale since either 08 or 09 and their is only 5 used 721's for sale. any way it was just my opinion.
