25hp Mariner 2 stroke.



I was reconnecting the shift linkage and the pin it flips over and is secured onto got pushed in. The diagram above shows the pin in red.

How do I get this pin back out so I can flip the grey thing over it to secure it??

The starter has a stripped bolt from someone else so I can't pull it.

The pin is non-ferrous - I tried a neodymium magnet on a stick to get it back out.
