Hi guys. Not asking for your secret honey hole but would anyone of you guys can pm me and point me to a general location where I can put my friend on some fish. Its been so long he forgot what a white bass look like. Thinking about hitting RC this Saturday. Any help is really really really appreciated. This will be our first time up there. Don't have a lake map of RC yet. Will try to get one today if not once we arrive there. Thanks!!

Bruce,

Did well the week before last and then on Monday got blown off the Lake before finding any fish. Looked for two hours and never found a school. Haven't been able to fish since then due to the 30-40MPH Winds. The fish we caught were the first good schools of Sandies since last Summer. The fish were not in the same places the days we caught them. You're best bet is to try anyone of these locations and hope you find them....Pelican Island, Old Hwy 287 Roadbed, 309 Flats, Dogleg and just about any Main Lake Point on the North Shore(Wind from the South on Friday & Saturday). Keep your eyes open for the Gulls as there were a few working schools a week ago.

All our fish came on RSR Slabs (www.rsrlures.com ) and a Jig Teaser in 20' plus of water.

You're at a distinct disadvantage on RC if you don't know a little about the Lake as a 45,000 acre Lake can be tough to find fish on if you don't rule out about 90% of the water. Just too many places for the fish to be and not enough time to look everywhere.

Good Luck and hopefully more fish will have made their way from the Creeks to the Main Lake!

Thanks,
Royce & Adam Simmons

Gone fishing Thanks!! But when you have time can you pm me a picture with a drop pin or a mark just to show the general areas. North near the entrance of the river/creeks or maybe mid lake or maybe South end.

Sorry...but I'm a technological dinosaur. No pins on maps or pictures. roflmao

Launch at Oak Cove Marina off Hwy 287, go under the Hwy 287 Bridge and you're on the Main Lake where you'll hopefully find fish on the spots mentioned.

Good Luck!

Thank you so much guy's!! Especially some of you guys that pm me. I tell you TFF got a lot of very nice peoples on here. Ask for help and you get it every time. God bless y'all for your generosity. Wind breaker thank for that very nice offer. Wish I've checked my mail a little earlier, but I've already made my decision before I check my mail to head up to Arkansas this evening to do some fly fishing. They also has white bass up there. Hope I hook a few on the fly.
